The difference between CBD and THC
Del
When talking about cannabis, two abbreviations often come up: CBD and THC . Both substances are found naturally in the cannabis plant, but they have very different effects and uses.
What is CBD?
CBD (cannabidiol) is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid, meaning it doesn’t get you “high.” Instead, CBD is associated with relaxing and balancing effects. Many people use CBD to support sleep, relieve anxiety, or generally promote well-being.
What is THC?
THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) is the substance that gives the euphoric feeling usually associated with cannabis. THC directly affects the brain, can alter sensory impressions and mood, and is therefore classified as illegal in Denmark.
The main differences

- High : THC produces a high, while CBD does not.
- Legality : CBD is legal as long as the products are certified and comply with THC limits. THC is illegal in Denmark.
- Purpose : CBD is primarily used for well-being and support of the body. THC is used recreationally or in some countries medicinally.
